RULES


Rifles must use .22 RF or other miniature rifle calibres as approved by HBSA [ e.g. 0.297" / 0.230" Morris Tube , 0.310 Cadet ]

Competitors : Members and non members of the H&ESA

Match Conditions : As HBSA Rules 1995 [ and the entry form ]

Padded glove [s] . shooting jackets and slings are NOT permitted .

A sandbag or a bipod are permitted . A wrist rest may also be used .

Replica firearms in the " spirit of the original " [ Rule G.3.1 ] are permitted .

Multiple entries of each Match are permitted provided that a different firearm is used for each Entry .

All
firearms shall be licensed and " in proof " .

Targets will be as shown , see F-Class Targetry.

Distance : 25 yards for all classes . Shot in the prone position.

All exposures start with a loaded rifle .

 

COURSE of FIRE


Two non convertible sighters .

Ten shots / 2 per diagram @ round bull target . . 2 minutes .

Ten shots / 2 per diagram @ Figure targets . 2 per 10 second exposure .10 second away time

Ten shots / 2 per diagram @ Skirmisher target 1 1/2 minutes

Ten shots / 2 per diagram @ Animal target 1 per 5 second exposure . 10 second away time

Match 1 : Any semi auto magazine rifle any date semi auto optic sight

Match 11 : Vintage to post Veteran .Open rifle . Pre 1960 single shot Optic sight

Match 111 : Vintage to Post Modern Open rifle Pre 1960 Magazine Optic sight

Match 1V : Modern Open rifle After 1960 Single shot Optic sight

Match V : Modern Open rifle After 1960 Magazine Optic sight

Match V1 : Any Service rifle . with or without magazine . Any date line Optic sight .

Prizes : Medals for winners [ depending on entries ] of each match .
A prize giving will be held at the end of the event .

General : The Matches are squadded , competitors should report at the firing point 15 minutes before their shooting time.


Classes may be adjusted on the day depending on the number of entries.


Entry Fees at last count

£6.00 per Match .

Under 18's £5.00 per Match .

A competitor badge will be issued to all entrants .
