At Herts & Essex Shooting Association – Historic Arms Section. 9.30am with Show & Tell usually both preceding and following the talk at 10.00am; tea & coffee available and all done by midday – unless you're still chatting over the exhibition and lecture; in which case it’s a self-inflicted delay.
The Herts & Essex clubhouse and range is midway between Chelmsford & Braintree, with dual-carriageway much of the way from the A120 via M11 and M25 or the A12, and virtually to the door on the A131.

Annual Field Firing Competition - Open competition for .22" rifles using classic targets. All versions of .22 rimfire may be used, plus such CF calibres as .297/230 and .310 Cadet.Shot in different classes, any action is eligible, manual or self-loading. Any sights are eligible-open, military, target, or optic- and will be shot in their class.

EBGC hold annual shooting competition for its members at HESA facility.
HESA members provide assistance with access to facilities and demonstrations of different shooting disciplines
