for the Karabiner Model 31 Schmidt-Rubin

Calibre: .175"/4.40mm
The Hämmerli "Trainer" spring air adapter replaces the K31 full-bore service carbine bolt, and replicates the arrangement of its bolt handle.
There is a 'magazine' that holds five 4.40mm calibre round balls, permitting firing as a repeater, each cocking of the lever applying pre-compression of the action.
The adapter is designed for training at a range of five metres.
