Over the ten rounds of the competition, each competitor is twice matched against each of the other five shooters in the division into which he has fallen after Round Four by virtue of his aggregate score at that point.
(N.B. Any suspicion of sand-bagging would be penalised by the placing of that competitor into a higher division)
The higher gun score of each shooting pair in each round obtains TWO points for that win. The lower receives 'NIL POINTS'. In the event of a tie, each competitor obtains ONE point.
The shooter with the greatet number of points at the end of the league will win. In the event of an overall POINTS tie, the shooter with the highest aggregate gun-score will win his division, a medal and a certificate, as will the runner-up. In the unlikely event that aggregates are also tied, then countbacks will be applied.
